National Education Standards circa 2009: Where do we go from here?
Washington DC Fordham Institute

Please join the Thomas B. Fordham Institute for a lively discussion of this important topic.  The march toward national standards passed a key milestone with September’s release of draft “Common Core” standards. How solid is that draft? How does it compare to other prominent national and international benchmarks such as NAEP, TIMSS, and PISA? Where do we go from here?  Come hear a top-notch panel, moderated by our own Checker Finn.
