Discussion: education innovation and designing the school of the future

Wednesday, October 21, The Disrupters: Katherine Bradley on education innovation and designing the school of the future

Katherine Bradley of the CityBridge Foundation visits AEI to discuss how the boom in education technology and adaptive-learning software is revolutionizing schools and learning.

What does innovation look like in education? How do we design schools our students - particularly those at risk - need? What is technology's role in revolutionizing schools? To build a movement that focuses on these questions, CityBridge Foundation is incubating programs for educators across Washington, DC. These teachers and school leaders are applying design thinking to their schools, personalizing instruction, and using technology to dramatically change the student learning experience.

On October 21, AEI's James Glassman will talk with CityBridge Foundation President Katherine Bradley about how disruptive innovation is shaking up traditional educational models, transforming DC schools, and delivering on the promise of digital technologies to improve educational performance.
