2016 Washington Education Technology Policy Summit

Wednesday, April 6-7, SETDA is cohosting the 2016 Washington Education Technology Policy Summit with the Consortium of School Networking (CoSN).

To be held at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. SETDA encourages you to attend and to share details about the event with your colleagues, schools and districts.

Federal education technology policies are at an important turning point with the passage of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), ongoing discussions about student data privacy, and major expansion of  E-Rate. Your voice is urgently needed on Capitol Hill to ensure Congress continues this momentum. Education and technology leaders will be provided an opportunity to hold in-person discussions with key policymakers on the critical issue of advancing student learning. By providing this opportunity, the Summit will enable attendees to advance the conversation about the important role of technology in K-12 school reform and improvement and ESSA.
